I am an artist who specialises in unique and original oil paintings on paper, canvas and board. My work aims to express and portray the beauty and vibrancy of colour, shape, form and varying contrasts and textures. My own photography is used as primary research to capture interesting and inspiring compositions and references of subjects including flowers, portraits and picturesque sea and landscapes. Oil is my preferred medium for painting although I do also enjoy using gouache paint and other mediums such as pastels, inks and charcoal for sketching and drawing studies

After completing an Art and Design foundation course at Buckinghamshire Chilterns University in 2004, I went on to study at Central St Martins, which gave me the opportunity to develop and apply my passion for drawing and painting to another art form, weaving. Projects were completed using these key skills as research and development to create woven fabrics and decorative structural pieces, which can also be viewed in the Gallery section of this site.

If you are interested in viewing or purchasing any of the work seen on this site, please telephone 44 (0) 7900822442 or use the Contact page. In addition to the paintings shown, commission work can also be undertaken to order.
